Rapper Big Trill’s music career suddenly stagnated ever since Baboon Forest collapsed a couple of years ago. Well, he has decided to give himself a lifeline by getting into music production.
A reliable source close to the musician, told sQoop that upon return from Nigeria, the rapper rushed to Buddies studios in Naalya where he started receiving lessons from producer Deweezy at Buddies studios in Naalya.
‘Big Trill is managed by Nigerians under the ‘Strikers’ entertainment, so he visited the country to explore and learn more about how they do their thing. However, what he came back with was not music per se but some production skills,’ the source said.
We know for sure he has not yet produced any song so far but his desire might have been triggered by the fact that he is embraced by those who understand him.
If his new journey works out, Big Trill will follow in footsteps of Benon, Ngoni, Steve Jean and Toniks among others who started as musicians but became producers.
