Most artistes can’t handle me- A Pass

If there is any controversial musician in Uganda lately, it’s A Pass. The musician whose fame came after he released ‘Tulikubigere’ has cynically attacked fellow musicians as well as fans on his various social media platforms, the latest being Bebe Cool.
But that is not the reason we are here although it has everything to do with music. The ‘Marianna’ musician recently while on an interview was asked why he has little collaborations with other musicians but his reply was typical of him.
“I’ve never refused to do any collabo with any musician but what happens is that most of them can’t handle me. With my style, few artistes like Konshens can blend in well,” he said.
He added that he was supposed to work with Nigeria’s Runtown on some project but when he sent in his work, it was too much for Nigerian artiste that he never replied which was also the case with other artistes that he refused to disclose.
A Pass further added that it’s more effective if he just writes songs for artistes because that helps in keeping the relationship stronger than if they sing together.
