Madrat and Chiko @ TheatrE LabonitaComedians Madrat and Chiko will have their maiden VIP comedy show this evening dubbed Nseko Buseko at Theatre Labonita starting at 7pm. The red carpet event will have Ronnie McVex as the emcee so come be ready to laugh your lungs out. Entrance is 30k ordinary and 70k VIP. Subafest @ Jahazi Pier MunyonyoThe Subafest event is back tomorrow at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo from 10am till late. There are great prices to be won, including Dirtiest Subaru, Best car sound, Best body art, Best engine sound, Best muffler, rims, tyres, interior, and body paint, among others. Entrance is 10k and there will be drifting as well.
A Ka Dope Weekend @ the squareShifa Musisi, Mc Yallah and Joash, Sandy Soul & JC Muyonjo, Sandra Subbi, Apio and Kenneth Mugabi will be the lead artistes at the ‘A Ka Dope weekend’. The event which starts tomorrow and goes till Sunday will be at the Square in Industrial Area from 10am till late. The event is aimed at uniting artistes from different calibres i.e. (dancers, painters, photographers, singers, rappers, DJs etc). Tickets are going for 50k.
Asante Baba charity concert @ Theatre LabonitaOmega Missions Choir will be live in the ‘Asante Baba’ charity concert this Sunday at Theatre Labonita. The two shows (3pm and 7pm) are meant to support children of prisoners. Among artistes that will perform is Pamela Ssenyonga, Teacher Mpamire, Canaan Gents, Duncan Genesis and many more. Tickets go for 20k and 50k VIP.
DramaGerman Movie Night @Planet Goethe-Zentrum, KampalaGoethe-Zentrum will be screening a movie about German this Tuesday under the Goethe-Institute’s language courses directed by Maren Niemeyer. The 87-minute documentary recounts the moving story of teaching German as a foreign language from 1951 until today. Entrance is free and screening starts at 8pm. Enggwalanggwawa premier @ TheatrE LabonitaThe Ebonies are premiering their latest production Enggwalanggwawa (Flight 36) this evening starting at 4pm at Theater Labonita. It will be a red carpet affair with all your stars available for selfies. Entry fee is 15k children, 25k downstairs and 30k upstairs. The production starts at 8pm.
Wataba @ Bat valley Theatre: Mariam Ndagire Film and Performing Arts Centre alumni presents the Wataba stage play by Juliet Zansanze happening tomorrow and on Sunday for two shows; 3pm and 7pm. Entry fee is 20k for each show. Come see upcoming actors and your favourites doing their thing.
