James Peterson is over the moon because it is things like this that prove that he has indeed been on radio for 20 years. News reaching us is that the KFM K-Drive presenter is in South Africa for the Radio Days Africa workshop.
Peterson, who was the only East African selected to attend the show, was one of the key speakers at the event and his role was to talk about the commercial radio landscape in Uganda. He was invited both as a KFM presenter and as radio week Uganda representative.
Radio Days Africa is part of Radio Days Europe and it is an event in which global thought leaders driving the radio industry participate. This particular occasion had Steve Martin from BBC, Graham Dixon from the European Broadcasting Union and Lance Rothschild, the CEO of Liberty Radio Awards, among others.
Good stuff Peterson, but we hope you will not be returning to lecture us on the K-Drive but please do share some tips.
