The late Hassan Halima, Zari’s mother has received hundreds of condolence messages from different people but nothing beats Zari’s message to her mother.
“Mother you were the truest, dearest, more than a mother to me. I called you friend, sister, cousin and also dad when I lost dad. You stood alone for 20 years after dad passed on, and only God knows the inner strength you had to come through with all our siblings,” she posted on her face book wall.
The socialite further added that her mother always made her happy even during the dark days of her life.
“I will forever salute you mother because you’ve been all I ever needed in my life. God gave me the best mom in the world! You taught me to never give up on my dreams but to persevere no matter how hard the storms may be. I miss you mom.” Zari added.
Halima Hassan was admitted to ICU at Nakasero Hospital weeks ago after she reportedly suffered heart complications and was in a critical condition until her last breath.
She died at the age of 58 and is survived by children including Zari, Zuleya and Zahara Hassan.
