Fashion tip: Block heels

Don’t we all like to rock a good show? The block heel is that trend that even one who hates high heels will be comfortable wearing, yet still look sexy. It can pass for a formal or casual look.

You know that saying that the shoes on your feet tell a lot about who you are? Well, maybe I just made that up. But I am sure you catch the drift. Heels, in particular are a favourite for me when it comes to pulling off a good look. But after a long weekend of running around in six-inch stilettos, a girl needs to rest her feet. And that is where the block heels come in. Here is how you pull off this foot wear.
The name is derived from the block style heel that these shoes have, making them very comfortable and safe to keep on your feet for long hours.
When it comes to blending these in with your everyday looks, your A-line skirt, skater dress, and even boyfriend jeans can pass with these shoes. If you are looking to add these into your work ensembles, select neutral shades such as nude, black, or burgundy. These will draw attention to your feet, for all the right reasons. If you are looking to have a more dressed up look, then you can select your chunky heels with some sparkle, or print.
For look one, add your heels to a pair of boyfriend ripped jeans and a slogan tee. Complete the look with a coloured sling bag, for a great casual look. Alternatively, add these heels to your maxi dress, and an oversized jacket for a Friday office look.
Shopping points will vary, and whether you are the kind that loves to splurge, or shop conservatively, there are purchase points up town and down town. Just make sure the shoes fit right and get those legs popping.
