If somebody who is not so much into politics bypassed Wampewo Grounds yesterday, they would assume that the presidential campaigns were back.
A mammoth crowd gathered to witness musician turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine address his second rally, and of course catch other musicians on stage. Among the artistes who were there to support Bobi Wine in his quest for the Kyadondo East MP seat was Geosteady, King Saha, Kalifah Aganaga, Spice Diana and Victor Kamenyo.
Recently, singer Eddy Kenzo pledged his support for Bobi Wine in a Facebook post. “Uganda does not need politicians but leaders who think and deliberate for people. Bobi Wine is the future,” read part of Kenzo’s comment.
Bobi, who is standing on an Independent ticket, is contesting for the seat after it fell vacant following the nullification of Apollo Kantinti’s election. The by-election will be held on June 29.
