Hate or love her, Shiela Gashumba is fast becoming a force to reckon with when it comes to TV business. One time she is in Nigeria covering the MTV and Channel O awards, the other time she is backstage covering big celebrities in Africa.
But what she is achieving now will leave many supporting their jaws in envy. The NTV presenter, as we write this is in the USA. Not for holiday, not to escort her father but to cover the BET Awards.
Uganda has only had four people ‘taste’ the BET red carpet and that is Radio, Weasel, Eddy Kenzo and Anitah Fabiola who was there in the company of Nigerian singer D’banj. Sheilah becomes the fifth and first local media personality to get there.
BET only gave African journalists four media passes to cover this event. Sheilah flew out yesterday and she will be there for five days. We cannot wait to get all the action first hand!
