When singer Bebe Cool told us he was setting out on an international mission, we had no idea he was taking the bull by the horns. Word in the corridor is that one of the conditions the music star gave to be part of this year’s Coke Studio, was to have a collaboration with the main act. Jason Derulo! Dream could come true for Bebe because as we write this, the Mbozi Za Malwa artiste has already put pen to paper for the show.
If all goes well, then this will be the artiste’s biggest international collaboration. Some of his projects so far have been collabos with Kenya’s Sauti Sol on Mbozi Za Malwa), My Wife with Ghana’s Stone Bwoy and Touch with Malawian star Tay Grin.
The other requests we hear Bebe Cool gave to Coke Studio was to be booked into a five-star hotel, four business class air tickets, top security and Shs40m. This will be the singer’s first Coke Studio appearance and other Ugandan artistes that will represent are Eddy Kenzo, Sheebah, DJs Roja & Slick Stuart, Ykee Benda and Maurice Kirya.
