SK Mbuga to fly out for treatment, Katikkiro visits him in hospital

SK Mbuga

Businessman Suleiman Kabangala Mbuga commonly known as SK Mbuga will be flying out of the country immediately he leaves Nakasero hospital to seek further treatment in Sweden where his wife and child will be by his side.

The tycoon is still at Nakasero hospital where he was admitted last week after being involved in a motor accident that left both his legs and left arm broken.

Buganda Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga

Ever since he was admitted, no one has been allowed to visit him and in fact, an armed police officer was stationed at the entrance of his ward. However, on Friday doctors confirmed that he was out of danger and ready to see some visitors.

Among the many people who went to see him was the prime minister of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga along with other Buganda officials. The Katikkiro consoled Mbunga and assured him that he’s going to be fine.

“It is so sad to see you in such a situation. But since I’ve come to see you, you are going to be fine,” the Katikkiro said.

Mr Mbuga was involved in a road accident on Sunday evening near his home in Buziga, an upscale Kampala suburb while test riding his newly acquired high-powered motorcycle.

He is reported to have broken his legs, a left arm and sustained a cut on his head.
