Judith Babirye will this evening have her ‘Maama Katonda Talimba’ concert at Kampala Serena Hotel starting at 8pm. Artistes Levixone, Exodus, King Saha, Pallaso and Julie Mutesasira and others will be there to support her. Entrance to the show is 100k ordinary and Shs5m tables.

The Buzz Teeniez Awards @ UMA Hall Lugogo
The annual Buzz Teeniez awards are happening tomorrow at UMA Hall Lugogo with the theme ‘Voice your choice’. Come witness the best entertainers awarded and perform. It will be a red carpet affair and entrance is only 5k.

Zzina beach carnival @ ONE LOVE BEACH, Busaabala
The Zzina Beach Carnival will be at One Love Beach, Busaabala this Sunday. Artistes Ykee Benda, Rodney Y, Geosteady, Winnie Nwagi, Ziza Bafana, David Lutalo and Ceasorous among others will perform. Show starts at 10am till late. Entrance is 7k before 1pm and 10k after.

Kampala Models Marathon @ Uganda Museum
Wardz Modelling and Eseza Foundation present the Kampala Models marathon this Sunday at Uganda Museum. Activities to expect include Fashion runway, models face marathon, Nyama Choma, wine and coffee, surprise guest artistes, live band and comedians. Entrance fee is 20k ordinary and 50k VIP.

Makerere University Run @ Freedom square
The Makerere University run, planned to be an annual event is happening this Sunday at the university’s Freedom Square starting at 7am. It is aimed at raising funds for building a students’ centre. The centre will enhance the quality of student life and experience. Entry fee is 10k, 25k silver and 50k gold.

The 1st Annual Mothers’ summit @ Silver springs
In contemplation of the mother’s roles and the challenges she faces each day in balancing family and career roles, Gals Forum International brings the 1st annual mother’s summit at Silver Springs Hotel starting tonight, tomorrow and on Sunday. Tomorrow’s event will cost 50k while that happening on Sunday will be 80k singles and 150k doubles.

Drama
Akajegere @ Bat valley Theatre
D’ Xpendeboz presents a play titled ‘Akajegere’ (The stiff chain) this Saturday and as Sunday for two shows 3pm and 7pm at Bat Valley Theatre. Come watch over 10 actors on one stage for an educative and entertaining play. Entrance fee is only 20k.

Macondo Film screening @ Goethe-Zentrum
From Austria, the Macondo movie will screen this evening at Goethe-Zentrum. The movie directed by Sudabeh Mortezai is about an 11-year-old boy who has a lot of responsibilities, including taking care of his mother and two young sisters. The movie will start at 8pm and entrance is free.

Latavia @ Theatre Labonita
The Ebonies, headed by Dr Bosa and others like Kalisa, Barnabas and Sarah are performing their stage production “Latavia” this Sunday evening starting at 7pm. The full length stage play will cost only 25k first class and 30k VIP.


Disco time
Upclose with Apio Moro @ Yasigi beer garden
Tomorrow evening, musician Apio Moro will be performing live at Yasigi Beer Gardens. The musician who also doubles as a guitarist will start performing at 8pm till 10pm. Entrance is 10k.
One Dance experiment party @ Club Emrah, Old Kira Rd
The one dance experiment party is happening tomorrow at Club Emrah, Old Kira Rd former plat4om with a number of performances from Young Swaga, Fantom Vybz, Witty Eddy, Bullet, Young Levi, Chris Penny, One Son and Sheyne Mail, among others. Entry fee is 3k and event starts at 9pm.

Loud Fridays @ the night hawk
Hosted by DJ Bryan Ting and MC Mosh Mulla, the Night Hawk presents Loud Fridays where beers are served at a discount. Happy hour starts at 6pm till 10pm and five beers go for 20k. Entrance is free to all the entire evening.

Euro Vision Song Contest Screening Party @ Big Mike’s Cocktail bar
The Euro Vision song contest, an annual international TV song competition, held among member countries of the European Broadcasting Union is coming to a big screen in Kampala tomorrow. Catch the live screening from Kieve, Ukraine and party at Big Mike’s Lounge starting at 7pm. Entrance fee is 20k and includes two beers.
