Fallen singer Harriet Kisakye’s son passes on

Not more than two years after the demise of musician Harriet Kisakye, her youngest son we can reliably inform you, has passed on.

Shakul Kawooya, the last born to the fallen musician passed on yesterday. The cause of the death is still unknown.

It is said Kawooya, aged eight years started complaining of body pains on Wednesday after picking up his report card from school and the situation worsened on Thursday morning, forcing his aunt to rush him to hospital. Unfortunately, he died while on the way.

According to his aunt, Shakul had asked her not to work so that they could both see how he performed and she gladly obliged, not knowing that that was the last day she would see him alive.

“He asked me not to work and I accepted. When he returned with the report card, he was the 3rd. we both felt so happy. We spent the day together. In fact, he had even promised his father Hajji Kawooya that they would watch the Thursday night Europa Cup match together, but he died before the game,” she said.

The burial of the deceased will take place today in Buikwe District at 4pm. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
