Self-proclaimed RnB ‘Kyabazinga’ Ronald Magada alias Maro has in the past been nominated in various awards, but he has won just a few. A few days ago though, the singer got what might perhaps be the best recognition in his life. The Mubi Bubi artiste got a pat on the back from an international actor, who said Maro is his best Ugandan artiste. We are talking about Omari Morocco, the Empire actor who plays Luscious’ cousin in the series. Morocco, who was in the country for close to a week, was hosted on one of the TV stations and when asked if he knew anything about Ugandan music, he said: “I have listened to Maro’s music and he is really great. I like his style.”
We doubt Maro even heard this because he never posted anything on his social media but now that we have sqooped him, he will probably be looking for a recording and post like it happened yesterday. Anyway, keep going dude!
