It is quite evident that Jack Pemba has been off the social scene the past month, a thing that has prompted some tabloids to insinuate that he had fled the country. But when we sought out to understand if the businessman/socialite had indeed “run away over money laundering” claims, a source within his team told us that it was true Pemba was out of the country but for business. From what we learnt, the Pemba Sports Africa boss is in Dubai, where he is busy setting up a shipping business. “He is expanding his business in Asia by opening up offices”. We heard that while in Dubai, Pemba also attended the Karate1 Premier League Championships and lobbied to bring the sport to Uganda to add to his body building, martial arts and basketball projects.
