Run Girls Marathon @Kawaala Health Centre IV
A marathon to fundraise sanitary wear for about 600 girls in selected schools of very poor communities in Kampala and Butaleja districts is on tomorrow. The funds will also help facilitate capacity training for 120 girls in vocational life skills, to complete education, have materials for projects and get income from crafts, computer literacy, tailoring and catering. Registration is 10k.
Jalada Mobile Festival – Kampala Leg @ Uganda Museum
Tomorrow and Sunday, the Jalada Mobile Literary & Arts Festival will be at the Uganda Museum. The festival will celebrate diversity and create living connections between writers, artists, and diverse audiences.
