This Sunday, all roads will lead to Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo for Roast and Rhyme. Among performers is Bebe Cool and Benon and Vampos, reuniting for the first time since their split. Come enjoy roasting meat, maize, gonja, beer and other fun things. Entrance is 50k.
Female DJ showdown @ Kyadondo Rugby club
Dubbed the Ladies Affair/be bold for Change edition, platinum DJs presents the first ever female DJ showdown next Tuesday at Kyadondo Rugby Club in anticipation of the Women’s Day Celebrations. Seven female DJs including Lolah, Mary Jo, Pofia, Shiella Ats, Rachael, Kathy and XZYL will all be on one stage. Entrance is free and show starts at 6pm.
Mesach Semakula in concert
Golden Band’s Mesach Semakula will be celebrating his musical journey dubbed ‘My journey Totya Bigambo’ this evening at Hotel Africana Nile Hall powered by Rydim Empire. Entrance is 100k and it will be an all-VIP show. Come be entertained by Golden Band artistes.

Francophone Film Festival @ Allaince Francaise
Alliance Francaise Kampala will on Monday host the Francophone Film Festival with a fantastic selection of films from different French-speaking countries around world. The event will feature symposiums, workshops and film talk. This will be during the month of Francophonie, a time to celebrate the French language and culture. Show starts at 7pm. Entrance is free.
Tontoma Poetry Jazz Session @ 32 East Ugandan Arts Trust
The Tontoma poetry jazz session is happening on Wednesday at 32 East Ugandan Arts Trust in Kansanga. There will be poetry from only female poets, video film screenings, documentary about female poets and other activities. Entrance is 5k and it starts at 8pm.

A play production of Aminata written by Francis Imbuga and directed by Freeman Ajumebon is showing at National Theatre tomorrow till next weekend. Show time is 7pm while entrance is 20k. This is in celebration of the International Women’s Day.

Mariam Ndagire Film and Performing Arts Centre Alumni present a play titled ‘Waataba’ starring Ziwa Dungu, Nansimbi, Nabuzaana, Enock, Amina among others. Show starting tomorrow with two shows 3pm and 7pm. Entrance is 20k per show. It is an educative and entertainment play that you surely don’t want to miss.
