The Uganda National Performing Arts Association president, Andrew Benon Kibuuka was on Friday night involved in an accident that almost claimed his life.
Benon Kibuuka who was from attending Mesach Ssemakula’s show at Hotel Africana was knocked by a drunk driver in Bwebajja on his way home.
It is said that it was a head on collision after the driver of the other car lost control.
Benon Kibuuka, popularly known as Dube Ssempaata was rushed to a clinic in Bwebajja but later transferred to Kadic clinic, Bukoto where he’s currently admitted.

We are told that he’s out of danger at the moment and doctors are doing everything in their power to see that he recovers well.
