By now we all know that Jamaica’s biggest band, Morgan Heritage, will be performing in Uganda for the first time ever.
Now the latest scoop we have is that the rastafarians will perform for His royal Highness the Kabaka of Buganda on his 62nd birthday celebrations.
Word is that Buganda Kingdom authorities are in talks with Swangz Avenue to have the band at least honour the Kabaka’s invite and do a song or two at the Mengo palace, at whatever cost.
Only issue though is that April 13, the date the Kabaka celebrates his birthday, is the exact day the Bell-sponsored concert is set to take place. But apparently the Mengo team is willing to make the impossible possible, meaning we could see see the kabaka’s birthday celebrations brought to a day earlier.
