During her last days at Swangz Avenue, Irene Ntale scooped a deal as Ambassador of an environmental NGO based in San Francisco. In Uganda, Ntale was chosen alongside artiste Maurice Kirya and comedian Salvado Patrick Idringi.
Unconfirmed reports have it that all the people in this project were paid Shs70m to be part of the project, which is meant to run in Uganda for a few months. Unfortunately when the company learnt that Ntale was quitting Swangz Avenue, she was asked to return the Shs70m.
Apparently the Sembera singer got the deal while under Swangz Avenue, so they were receiving the money on her behalf. When we contacted Ntale for a comment on this, she kept at no comment.
