SINGLE: Minaj fed up with Meek not giving her attention

The word out is that Nicky Minaj and Meek Mill broke up after a fight during her birthday weekend last month and no, it wasn’t about one cheating on the other.
According to TMZ, sources close to the ex-couple say they weren’t getting along because Meek was hanging with friends and not paying attention to her. She went nuts on him, he got mad and left the island without her, and she ended the relationship.

Nicki took to Twitter on Thursday to end the speculation on whether the couple were still together or not. “To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon,” Nicki said. “Have a blessed New Year.”

There were some reports that Meek had been cheating with a woman named Sonye Rasool and that’s what set off Nicki. Sonye claims she and Meek hooked up years before Nicki, but fully denies any cheating and adds she’s about to file defamation lawsuits against several outlets.
Nicki, 34, and Meek, 29, began dating in early 2015. Both musicians have generally shied away from publicly discussing their private lives.
