At the beginning of 2017, Kfm’s Uncle D of the K-Drive had a One on One with Team No Sleep artiste Sheebah. They talked about her success last year and what fans should expect this year.
Uncle D: “You took over 2016. What was the secret?
Sheebah: “First of all I think it is timing. I thank God that after so many years of hard work, it [success] finally came around. Then I have a strong management that keeps pushing us to work hard and then my fans, the Sheebaholics who are with me and behind me always. They are awesome.”
Uncle D: “How do you feel when people constantly bash your manager Jeff Kiwa?”
Sheebah: “People always have their different perceptions about Jeff Kiwa. I don’t like talking a lot about him, but the one thing I can tell you is that I have absolutely no care what people think about him because we have a different relationship. For me he is more than a friend; we connect, he advises me on what to do and where to invest. I wouldn’t throw any stones at Jeff until I have to”.
Uncle D: “2017, what’s the plan?”
Sheebah: “2017 is going to be a good year I hope. We plan on setting the pace as usual and work hard as always. The Sheebaholics are in fine form plus I plan on releasing a new album titled The way. I shot the video in South Africa and the song is out and is already doing great. We will release the video on January 26 at Laftaz Lounge. We are already in studio compiling the album, so I look forward to seeing how that turns out. I am very positive and I know it is going to do great. We will keep you posted.
