Irene was Swangz’ most successful female artise

 

Yesterday, Irene surprised everyone when she posted on her Facebook that she has quit Swangz Avenue, a record label she has been part of for the last four years, saying that the decision was agreed upon by both parties.

And 20 hours later, Swangz Avenue has also come out and confirmed that indeed Irene left and it was by mutual consent.Swangz Avenue and Irene Ntale have parted company by mutual consent. We would like to bring to record our thanks to Irene Ntale for the hard work, integrity and honesty she put forward during our four years of work,” said Benon.

He also thanked Irene for her immense contribution since signing her in March 2013 and also commended the numerous awards and chart-topping hits she made in the four years she was with the label. This, they said made her the most successful female artiste in the nine years Swangz Avenue has been operating.

The artiste cum producer also wished Irene luck in her new journey, adding that she will always remain a “much-loved, respected and significant figure at Swangz”. He noted that the singer’s legacy at Swangz and the country at large has long been guaranteed and that she would always be warmly received.
