Stolen benz did not belong to Doreen Biira

joy

Although it has been reported on many Kenyan websites that Joy Doreen Biira, the KTN Business anchor’s Benz has been stolen, a source close to her says there has been a mistake and that it was not her car.
“Most Kenyan tabloids reported that her car was stolen, that wasn’t the truth. The said car belongs to a friend of hers,” he says.
Many tabloids reported that Doreen who returned to Kenya shortly after her arrest in Uganda over the Kasese attacks, is so sad and blue after losing her treasured Mercedes Benz E 220 registration number KBY 831K to thieves.
According to the websites, the Silver Mercedes Benz was stolen on Friday December 23rd, at around 8pm from the Standard Media parking lot, a few minutes after she had reported for duty.
They further reported that Doreen told friends that her car keys were picked from her desk.
“The key was picked from my desk and the car was driven out in the evening before I finished work. So when I finished work I could not find the car,” she reportedly said..
Although she tweeted “Stolen Car, Mercedes E-220, KBY 831K, Silver in colour. If seen, Report to nearest police station or the numbers here,” Doreen did not state that the car was hers.
