Different artistes have always advertised their concerts as charity shows, probably in fear that they might flop.
What happens is that you can never know if the money was put into charity or if it was diverted into other things. Levixone, a gospel singer, has always been involved in Charity mainly focusing on helping people in Kosovo, a slum where he grew up.
For two years now, the singer has been running two campaigns; the ‘Back to School’ campaign and the ‘Feed Kosovo’ campaign which happens every Christmas day.
Last Sunday, the singer held a charity concert which he decided to name Levixone and friends live in a share love charity concert which was meant to raise funds to feed people in Kosovo this Christmas.
When we asked the singer how much he collected from the show, he said he was still counting the money but he estimated Shs5m.
“The money we collected at the show is not enough to feed Kosovo as a village but we shall lobby for more money to make it happen this Christmas,” Levixone said.
I hope Chameleone is reading this, because the people in Karamoja are still waiting for the money he collected from the One Man One Million show.
