There are a lot of things that artistes do to promote their videos but what Winnie Nwagi did last weekend could perhaps be the best video promotion stunt of the year.
The ‘Magic’ artiste along with her management last Saturday put up pictures of the artiste where she appeared to be introducing an unidentified man in a glamorous ceremony.
Many thought this was a real ceremony but our efforts to reach Nwagi for a comment on why we were never invited for the ceremony hit a dead end as her phones were switched off.
Not to give up quickly, we reached out for her management who were a bit skeptical at first but later let us in on the loop.
“It was a plot to mislead people into believing that it was a real ceremony. Everything was just on point, the gifts and the decorations,” said one of the top guys at the Muyenga based studio.
Winnie Nwagi has been tight-lipped when it comes to matters to do with her relationship. No one knows the details of the man she’s dating although she has a seven year old child from her previous relationship.
