If there is one radio station that has supported the music Industry, it is none other than 93.3Kfm. The radio station, a flagship brand of Nation Media Group, was a major sponsor of DJ Roja and SlickStuart’s Mixtape Party and the latest we have heard is that it is among the top sponsors of the end of year Purple Party.
After making rounds to different upcountry towns, the Purple Party event hosted by NTV Presenter Douglas Lwanga will now go to the Uganda Museum Grounds – forget the long trips to the beach with lots of kifeesi even.
The Purple Party is an annual event that attracts almost all Ugandan artistes from across the country. The event started at Bull Dog Club in Wandegeya and moved to Venom Beach Bar in Kabalagala before it graduated to upcountry tours.
We are yet to find out the type of sponsorship Kfm is offering to the organisers of the Purple Party come December 11.
