You have probably seen some pictures making rounds on social media and looks like NTV’s new series, Second Chance, is finally out. The show, which premiers on October 31 at 8pm, is a replica of the original Spanish telenovela, El Cuerpo del Deseo, which aired on NTV in 2006.
NTV will be the first media house in East Africa to remake a TV series. Hollywood is widely known for remaking films or TV series and many successful British TV shows particularly sitcoms and reality shows have been remade for the American market. Ugly Betty originally Colombian was remade more than a dozen times.
Reliable sources at the station tell us that the show will replace Deception that was airing Monday and Tuesday at 8pm.
Among the cast is Fagil Mandy, yes the former educator from Uneb, Stella ‘Ellah’ Nantubwe, and Roger Mugisha. We surely cannot wait for this one!
