He may be an African superstar but having a whole nation against you is something not worth experiencing. Koffi Olomidde made a scene three months ago in Kenya when he assaulted his dancer at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) which led for his deportation but earlier today, the Music Congolese artiste issued an official apology to all Kenyans for his actions.
“My brothers and sisters in Kenya. I want to send a message of love, respect and friendship. I’m sorry for what happened last time and my cry is that you forgive me for what happened last time,” Koffi said in a video clip.
The ‘selfie’ artiste was caught on a clip kicking his dancer before his performance in Kenya last July. He was briefly detained after which, the authorities decided to deport him, never to return to their country. But on reaching his home country Congo, the musician was also arrested and spent a week in jail before he was released on bail.
