Kenyan singing group Sauti Sol said that Uganda has beautiful women, explaining why they think Kenyan women beef with Ugandan women. Bien Aime Alusa, a member of the group when asked about the beef, said: “It is understandable. What do you want us to do with a country like Uganda that has beautiful women wherever you go?” Later, after the show, Chimano commented on marriage saying: “We all don’t have children and we are not married. Marriage is something that happens without planning for it.”

The group that had a well-attended Club Mega Fest show at Sheraton Kampala Hotel Gardens paid 933 KFM radio station a courtesy visit on Monday morning during the D’Mighty Breakfast show.

Armed with a guitar that was being played by Polycarp, Sauti Sol also beautifully performed some of their songs like Sura Yako and Isabella.
Their one-hour visit to the station was among other reasons aimed at KFM listeners getting engaged and close to the music stars.

The show at Sheraton Gardens last Saturday was their third performance in Kampala, which they admitted is a beautiful city with a beautiful environment. “Kampala is an amazing city and Uganda is a beautiful country with people who love music. When we are here, we are home,” Alusa said.

Musically, as a group, Alusa said that it is not all about Sauti Sol being the hottest singing group in East Africa, but rather about making a contribution to the growth of East African music and artistes.
“Music is everything to us. The best way to make music is to make it accessible to all people. I would really urge all artistes that before you buy a good car, you should have good music management. You need to invest in yourself first for your music to grow,” Alusa said.
