Nancy Kacungira to host the business section of UNAA causes

Nancy

After winning the first BBC World News Komla Dumor Award, Nancy Kacungira became one of the most respected news anchors in the country. It is probably for this reason that the Ugandans living in the USA have decided that the former NTV anchor has to be among the hosts of their UNAA convention slated for September 2 to 4.

Kacungira will be the host of the business expo that is part of the two-day convention and in her own words; it is a great opportunity for Ugandans to harness the power of their individual networks.

“The world is now more interconnected than ever before and it is important to tap into the potential of international linkages so this business expo is a great opportunity for Ugandans at home and abroad to harness the power of their individual networks and together make positive contributions towards Uganda’s growth,” she told sqoop.
Meanwhile, in a related development, multi award winning Tanzanian artiste Diamond Platinumz will be the main act to launch the festival on September 2 at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles with several entertainment events, a boat cruise and black tie cocktail dinner among others.
