Pizza Hut, which is a multi-national fast food company, opened doors in Uganda three months ago at Village Mall in Bugolobi, Kampala. During the first two weeks after opening, pizza was being delivered free of charge to people on the streets, in their offices and in their homes. By this, many people got to know about the brand and from that time, the food store has continued to receive more customers and orders.
Due to the need to extend their services for those outside the Kampala area, Pizza Hut decided to open other outlets outside the city centre.
Last Friday, a second outlet was opened at Shell Entebbe under the name Pizza At Shell.
At the launch event, which was hosted by radio presenter/ TV news anchor Flavia Tumusiime, invited guests and members of the public were treated to free pizza samples of their choice. As though that was not enough, each customer who filled their car with fuel worth Shs50,000 at Shell Entebbe was also “pleasantly surprised” with a free pizza.
