The dvd: tRIPLE 9

Triple-9

Unlike most movies where ‘bad’ cops start off as good, Triple 9 starts with policemen in an act of crime. There are so many dark scenes in this movie that it becomes difficult to tell apart the good from bad until deep into the movie. These cops get jobs through their leader and earn loads of cash after accomplishing each.
The more they earn, the riskier it becomes. It is not long before some start talking of quitting. The gang leader, Michael (Chiwetel Ejiofor) manages to convince them to do just one more job, then they can call it quits. They stand to be paid a lot more cash than they have earned before. Obviously, the new deal is riskier.
Unknown to them, Jeffrey (Woody Harrelson) a detective has been trying to solve the last robbery they were involved in. The detective has some leads and a hunch that those involved are cops.
So as they go out one more time, the detective is also prepared to catch them at that last job. Can they pull it off successfully?
Disclaimer. This movie is not that fun to watch, the scenes are repetitive, it gets tiring to watch and not so easy to follow the plot. I only watched it because there was nothing else to watch. That should be the only condition under which you watch this.
