Sheebah, Lutalo, Aamito for Los Angeles festival

Aam

Since 1988, Ugandans in the Diaspora have always got a reason to feel at home. With the UNAA causes, an annual threeday festival introduced, different entertainers in Uganda from artistes to comedians have been performing at the event where all Ugandans in the Diaspora meet and greet.
This year’s festival, which is also the 28th edition, will take place on September 2 – 4 in Los Angeles and performances will be headlined by Singer Sheebah Karungi and David Lutalo.

sheebaAt the event, Africa’s Top Model Aamito Lagum, who is currently based in New York, will host a fashion show where different Diaspora designers will showcase their outfits. Sheila Gashumba and Robin Kisti will also host the Black Tie cocktail events during one of the days.

According to organisers, the festival is the biggest Ugandan gathering in the diaspora, and it brings together Ugandans now living in North America and create a platform on which they can network, share, and experience Ugandan culture.
This will be Sheebah’s second time to perform at the festival, after last year alongside King Saha and Haruna Mubiru.
