Singer Maro has always been known for his humility – it’s even in the name of his record company, Humble Management. However, in his recent video titled Atwooki, the singer tried out some dance moves and most of these being the trending Nigerian dance moves.
The video, which was shot in Ggaba market, saw Maro boldly dancing with a masked face. Maro played a clown throughout the video shoot, only removing it at the end of the video.
“Many people minded their businesses because they didn’t know the person shooting the video was me,” Maro said, adding that the reason he decided to act clowny was because he wanted to prove to people that he could actually dance.
The song Atwooki, whose lyrics are partly in Rutooro, was released last week.
