For those of you who don’t know, Irene Ntale was discovered at Emin Pasha five years ago by Swangz Avenue bosses Julius Kyazze and Benon Mugumbya, and she was spotted as a back-up singer for renowned artiste, Sheila. Now that she has found fame, the artiste has decided to go back and make dreams come true for some unprivileged talent.
Although she is looking for fresh talent to be part of her maiden concert, this won’t come easy, as whoever wants to be part of the Date Night Sembera show has to first do auditions.
“I would like people that can sing well and love the big stage. You should have enough time on your hands to rehearse at least twice a week. Auditions are ongoing at Swangz Avenue and they start at 10am,” she said.
Irene Ntale was supposed to have her concert last year at Hotel Africana but because of unavoidable circumstances, the show was postponed until the August 26 at Sheraton Hotel gardens.
