Comedian Felix Jesero aka Dolibondo is having a lot of pressure organising his annual camp comedy show. Recently, the comedian told Sqoop that he was taking the next camp comedy show to Nakasongola, a place that is way out of town. This probably might have prompted him to have a change of mind regarding the venue as the latest on our desk is that he is shifting from the initial venue to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), commonly known as the zoo.
“I was approached by Uganda Wildlife Authority and they told me that they wanted to have a night event in the zoo,” Dolibondo said, adding that the camp comedy being a night event fits so well with what UWEC wanted.
We also learnt that the other thing that forced the comedian to give in to their terms was that UWEC is giving him 50 per cent sponsorship ahead of the event that is on September 3.
This is going to be the second edition of Camp Comedy, the first was at Forever Resort in Jinja a few months ago.
