It is rare to find collaborations that turn out good, both in audio and visual. There is always a point where the magic gets lost. Such a scenario doesn’t occur with this Goodlyf and Ziza Bafana collaboration. It is as though the trio have been bosom buddies. If one is not well-versed with the trio, they are bound to think Goodlyf is comprised of three members. The line between Ziza Bafana and Goodlyf in this video is too thin, one wouldn’t dare put an eye’s needle.
The video is shot in a couple of locations, starting off with the rooftop scenes. Mowzey Radio plays the part of a dude who was rejected. Nonetheless, he has not lost his love for this girl who happened to run off with Weasel who owns a sleek car. The trio enjoys itself and this automatically rubs off the viewer in the right way. Take that moment when Radio decides to stubbornly perform the Michael Jackson crotch dance. Dude does he nail it! They choreograph their own comical dances and unknowingly pull off a great show.
The rooftop scene fuses a number of emotions into the video. The blue sky coupled with similar costume colours for the trio is something that speaks volumes about the freestyled nature of the artistes and their dedication to love and life. Even the car used is coated with the same colour.
Ziza Bafana joins the mix of the girl chase on his bike, riding it in a zig-zag yet relaxed manner. There is a rare kind of visual narcissism that is portrayed by the trio. However, it is this character flaw that makes the big ingredient in serving an awesome music video. All the madness peaks at the final moments. Weasel gets superbly crazy on the floor as Ziza Bafana carries Radio off the ground, leaving his legs swinging.
