The last time we wrote about Gertrude Uwitware was when she introduced her man Rodger Ariho last month and the latest news in the Ariho family is that the number has increased by one. The two welcomed their first child in the wee hours of Wednesday at Norvik Hospital on Bombo Road and Uwitware is said to have had a normal delivery and by press time both mother and son were doing great.
According to a close friend of the couple, the two are overjoyed by the arrival of their first child and that the husband was there all the time: “They are so happy and cannot get their eyes off the baby.”
They were discharged yesterday afternoon and they will be embarking on finding a name for the little addition as both parents have different choices.
Uwitware is the reporter for the Living Life, Tetenkanya Obulamu and Health Focus programmes on NTV. From the Sqoop desk, we would like to congratulate Gertrude and her husband on their new bundle of joy.
