Last Sunday was an emotional one in Lweza at Nican where Radio and Weasel were having their last Omwana W’abandi concert as Weasel’s mother surprised revellers when she came on stage, took the microphone and asked the public to forgive her sons for participating in ‘Tubonga Naawe’ project.
As if this was not enough, the mother of four artistes Jose Chameleone, Weasel, Pallaso and the late AK47 decided to sing part of Nyumbani, a song she regards as her best from Radio and Weasel. This gesture left Weasel in tears as he couldn’t believe what his mom was capable of doing.
Having missed their previous show at Colline Hotel in Mukono on Saturday as Radio was said to be unwell, the duo received a large crowd at Nican.
