Four members of Bobi Wine’s Fire base crew have been arrested after spending three days in police custody.
The four were arrested while doing rehearsals at the Kamwokya based studio on Thursday afternoon as President Museveni took his sixth oath as president.
Shortly after their release, Bobi Wine, real name Rober Kyagulanyi posted on his Facebook account the group was heading to his beach for a carnival.
“Finally our artists have been released from jail since Thursday morning. We are done doing the post-detention counselling and they are now already in a good mood heading to one love Beach Busabala for the Carnival.We are musicians not politicians…We are citizens not criminals!” Bobi Wine posted on his Facebook.
Bobi Wine has been critical of the government through his music especially his latest single, Situka.
