Sudhir’s residence stocks more wine than any bar in town

The photo above must tell it all! The image was recently taken and posted by one of tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia’s trusted expert hoteliers Amit Sach. Amit followed the photo with a caption that read; “stocking wine in the cellar at Sudhir Residence!”
We were equally shocked as you are right now about the capacity of the cellar. We did not bother counting, but by the look of things, the cellar must need hundreds of wine bottles to fill it up. We had rushed to imagine that Dr Sudhir was refilling the cellar because he probably has a looming party where he intends to drown his guests in all tribes of wines, but a source close to the tycoon told us the Ruaparelia group boss routinely orders for a special consignment of some of the world’s best wines and refills his cellar regularly.
“He (Dr Sudhir) is a man of parties, so this was just a routine refill, and he is likely to do another ahead of Sheena’s wedding in August,” the source told us.
Meanwhile, we learnt from someone inside the Sudhir residence that the cellar is strictly for wines. “spirits and whiskies have their own section,” the source told us.
With hundreds of wine bottles- atleast going by the photos, the Sudhir residence cellar might as well be one of the biggest in the land; its way bigger than most upscale bars and several wines shops! Talk about making money and enjoying it!
