Comedian Dolibondo can now tell how hard it is to be an events organiser. We bumped into the comedian earlier this week and he was not happy.
Apparently, he was disturbed by the management of Nile Discoveries, who he accused of changing goal posts two weeks to the annual Camp Comedy show next Friday.
“I was shocked when I got to Jinja and the lady told me different things from our earlier arrangement. I don’t want to divulge into details, but I am not a fan of people that don’t honour their positions in an agreement,” Dolibondo told us.
He, however, said he went ahead and secured another venue: “I was lucky to get Forever Resort – formerly Baraza – immediately. Forever has everything that the former venue had and even better. It is by the lake and nothing beats a camp experience close to the beach.”
The comedian said nothing else will change. “The Camp comedy is still happening on Good Friday; the tents are running out, so I advise all comedy lovers out there to book as fast as they can. Entrance to the show will be Shs30,000 and gates open from midday to 6am,” he said.
