Kampala socialite Shanita Namuyimbwa alias Bad Black is back to the city after serving four years at Luzira prison.
The Anti-Corruption Court on Thursday July 12 2012 sentenced the city socialite to four years in jail for embezzling Shs11 billion from Daveshan Company which belonged to her fiance’British businessman David Greenhalgh.
The same court sentenced her co- accused Meddie Ssentongo, who was found guilty of conspiring to defraud Daveshan Company, to 18 months in jail. Meddie however completed his sentence and has been around the city splashing his “hard earned” dimes.
Meanwhile Mr Greenhalgh was last week detained after he allegedly issued a false cheque worth Shs335m to a city businessman.
