“Who told you people don’t meet? That’s to mountains! Humility always wins,” read tycoon Sulaiman Mbuga’s Facebook post a few days ago. Along the post was a photo of him posing with Kampala Woman MP Nabilah Naggayi Sempala.
The legislator’s had posted on her Facebook wall on December 25, vowing to drag Mbuga to police and also sue the tycoon after one of his cars, apparently an ‘Escalade’, knocked down a boda boda rider along Buziga – Konge Road on Christmas Day.
Nabilah indicated that “Mbuga was driving at a terrible speed that he almost forced her off the road with his monster Escalade ride”.
She indicated that while she managed to survive a collision, the rider in front of her was not as lucky, as he was forced off the road and got seriously injured.
Days later, a serious exchange ensued between Mbuga and Nabilah on social media. But like Mbuga suggests about humility in his post, the two seem to have resolved the issue. And what better way to show it than taking a photo holding each other, flashing smiles, and the FDC sign. Which leads us to another question; does the pic suggest that Mbuga is an FDC fan? Tell us Mbuga!
