Gone are the days when being beautiful is the most important thing that counts in one’s life but of late, looks have to go hand in hand with brains and that is precisely what reigning Miss Uganda Zahara Nakiyaga is achieving today.
The beauty queen is graduating from Makerere University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies (DVS) from the School of Liberal and Performing Arts.

She joins other graduates in different courses for the 66th graduation ceremony of Uganda’s oldest and prestigious national University.
It has not been easy for the 23 year old as she has been juggling books and at the same time representing the country on several occasions as Miss Uganda.
Recently, Zahara represented Uganda in the Miss World beauty pageant which was eventually won by Spain’s 23-year-old professional model Mireia Lalaguna. Congratulations Zahara
