Organisers of Neyo’s Pop n’ Jam show have literally broken the bank to have the US star perform in Uganda come next Friday October 30. Talent Africa CEO Aly Alybhai, who booked Ne-Yo for the Bell Lager sponsored concert, revealed that the star is coming with a 35-man team.
“He is coming with a band, dancers and a technical crew. It will probably be the biggest production Uganda will witness in a long time. It’s gonna be massive,” Alybhai said.
Thousands of fans won free tickets to the show by checking for codes under the crown of Bell Lager and sending them to 8464. That promotion is still on going and Lugogo Mall has been turned into a hive of activity as winners started picking their tickets on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Uganda Breweries, the guys behind the show, relaxed the entry dynamics to allow those who don’t consume alcohol attend the show. Ne-Yo fans can now buy tickets, going for Shs60,000 and Shs120,000 for VIP.
