Ex -NTV Life Stories host Justine Nameere is such a smooth operator. How else would you explain how she managed to keep her political ambitions silent all this long!
Well, we have learnt that the soft spoken Nameere, who recently became a mother didn’t have enough time to enjoy her maternity leave. The ex-TV personality was instead busy strategising on how to garner political clout right from her grassroots.
Nameere pitched camp in Kalungu District for several months and when results for the NRM primaries were announced, she was declared the vice chairperson NRM Youth League right from village to sub-county level.
Nameere is not done yet. The former Bukedde TV presenter is set to go for the bigger catch. “I’m going all the way to the district and to MP.
“The youth need committed leaders with workable solutions to the problems they face especially unemployment and hardships in self-employment,” Nameere declared.
We can as well put it that Nameere, who is daughter of Kalungu MP and Agriculture state minister Vincent Sempijja, is following in her father’s footsteps.
The current Youth MP slot is currently occupied by Patrick Nakabaale. But with Nameere’s looks, popularity, coupled with her father’s clout, Nakabaale is up for stiff competition.
