I have tailored for Coco Finger, Bebe Cool , Gravity Omutujju, Ziza Bafana, Chameleone, Mikie Wine, Rema, Maureen Kabasiita, Sami Sami , Mary Bata , King Michael,Mesach Semakula, Fusion band, Gagamel band and others.
Do you sew for other people besides celebrities?
Yes, I also tailor wedding suits, changing dresses, introduction gowns, among others.
How do you get connections to celebrities?
Most of them are my friends since I am also an artiste. I get others through video producers, newspapers, TVs and radio stations.
How much do you charge for an attire?
I charge between Shs100,000 and millions, depending on what type of design someone wants.
What challenges do you face in this business?
Some artistes do not pay well yet they need quality designs.
Where do you get the materials you use?
I buy them from shops on Kiyembe Lane, Owino, and others from China.
Do you allow credit purchase?
No. It is order with cash or deposit at first and then complete payment on delivery.
Where is your business located?
My shop is opposite Shell Mulago, about 100 metres from the roundabout on Binayiisa Road.
How do you market yourself to beat competition?
I have many friends who recommend me to their friends. I use social media platforms and once in a while newspapers help.
Will you ever leave this business for anything else?
I do not think I can, but if I do, I will preach the word of God because I am a qualified preacher with two certificates.
