It is no longer a rumour – events host and Airtel field presenter Suubi Douglas aka Daggy Nyce is off the shelf. Sorry ladies! Well, Daggy walked longtime Australian girlfriend Heather down the aisle last weekend. Heather is a pharmacist and is currently on an exchange programme at Mulago hospital.
The couple hosted their friends and family at Esella Country Hotel in Kira Division. Many singles were overheard appreciating Daggy and Heather for having a simple but on-point wedding. But despite its simplicity, there was an even bigger highlight to the Suubis’ union.
Daggy, who happens to be the official Leone Island emcee, managed to have both the Leone Island boss and his lady as part of his bridal entourage. It was the first time Jose Chameleone and his wife Daniella Mayanja were on the same bridal entourage since their wedding.
Chameleone was part of the groomsmen while Daniella was Heather’s matron.
The celebrity family put aside all they had to do that Saturday to be part of Daggy’s entourage, although at about 8pm, Chameleone left for Hoima, where he had a performance. Daniella stayed bahind with the children all the way till the end of the do. Daggy’s father, Mr Peter Ngobi, an insurance expert, thanked the Mayanjas for showing his son so much love and he told them that they were now family.
Daggy and Heather are set to travel for their honeymoon in Hawaii this weekend. Congs and all the best Daggy and Heather!
