With a week away to his Twatoba concert, singer Pallaso has shown that his strategy is way past his debut concert. While a few of his contemporaries have been seen in the corridors at the NRM offices at Kyadondo, Pallaso chose a different approach, releasing a new song titled Tugende Tulonde.
Pallaso who has been on tour with his elder brother Jose Chameleone, submitted the song to promoter Balam Barugahare, who clinched a deal to do voter sensitisation across the country.
In the song, Pallaso urges his fans and all music lovers to go and vote to ensure their views are represented.
Sources close to Pallaso told us that he is not just looking at being part of the team of performers on the voter sensitisation trail, but rather, the Twatoba singer is eyeing becoming an EC ambassador for the next five months.
The source told us that Pallaso had a meeting at EC offices and he tabled his proposal. Sources within the electoral body confirmed that Pallaso has been frequenting their offices. Pallaso maintained that he did the song to encourage his countrymen and women to vote. However, he told us that if EC finds him appropriate for an ambassadorial role, “he would serve diligently.”
